1. Screwback Earrings and Push-On Back Earrings - What's the Difference?

Screwback earrings have threaded posts onto which the backs are twisted. The backs are also covered, meaning the posts don't stick through. This makes screwbacks more secure (less likely to fall off and more difficult for a little girl to remove herself). They are also more comfortable to wear, particularly when sleeping.

 Their disadvantage is that they are more fiddly to get on. 

Push-On Backs earrings are exactly that - the backs are pushed onto the posts and the posts stick  through the backs (commonly found in adult earrings). They are easy to get on and off. This allows older girls to put on/take off their own earrings.

The best time to put earrings on a baby/toddler girl is when they are asleep.
 

2. Ordering Process

We have many jewellery items in stock, and these are available for immediate dispatch the same or next business day. Items in stock are marked "in stock" near the top of their product page. 

Jewellery items not marked "in stock" will need to be ordered in from the US. This usually takes 1 - 2 weeks. Please bear this in mind when making your purchase.         

3. Christmas is Coming - When Do I Need to Place Orders?

For the busy Christmas period, the sooner the better. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend orders/purchases be made prior to December 10, to allow time for order processing (particularly if jewellery items need to be ordered from the US) and delivery. Postal deliveries always take longer during this busy period.

4. International Shipping

International orders are shipped by Registered Airmail (signature required upon delivery, tracking number provided to some countries eg USA). Delivery takes usually 1 - 3 weeks, sometimes longer, depending on the destination country. If you prefer courier delivery (takes 3 - 7 business days, with tracking number and signature), please contact us to arrange for quote.
